The last month alone has been a whirlwind of joy. Levi finished off karate sessions earning his yellow belt, made amazing Hogwarts potions, and taught us and his Kindergarten class about the Hanukkah miracle. Terra Lynn has become the “mother” at her preschool, master of goofy gymanstics, more comfortable in the water, sings in Hebrew, and escapes to paint her nails. We welcomed our newest family member Cookie, a papillon mix, into the family and attended/hosted numerous get togethers- from making my family’s latke recipe to dancing in the Palisades and watching magic before our eyes. Ryan and I both continue pushing in our roles. He’s a CTO in a small video game start up–Surreal–that has teamed up with another company to make a cool console game and I took on an amazing team that is focusing on business as the SVP of Product Transformation-Tech for Caesars.
We enjoyed a bit of Disney magic both in Florida and in CA, with some with grandparents and cousins. We got to learn more about Colombia and picnic adventures from our aupair Jenny and continue our journey meeting Shira and her love for kpop and patience for teaching Hebrew.
Ryan and I got to spend some quality time with friends, freezing all the moments possible. We finally saw our first musical after a few year sabbatical and we went as a family camping twice this year: once in the Malibu mountains and once in our Renfaire best. We got to travel to outside Caesarea and Rome and spent a lot of time with the Shnapik family and our friends from old.
